Elizabeth Bongo graduated Montclair State University with a Bachelor of Science in Food and Nutrition. She completed her dietetic internship at Brigham and Women's Hospital, a teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School. She is a certified diabetes educator specialized in teaching individuals with diabetes how to self manage all aspects of their disease. She is a member of Diabetes Care and Education, a practice group of The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Association, as well as a member of the American Association of Diabetes Educators.
