With his many speaking engagements and commitment to education, Dr. Neil Morganstein has a reputation as a leader in the treatment of hematological and oncological issues. He is a national speaker in the area of multiple myeloma, as well as co-chair of a video conference on the management of patients with multiple myeloma. He has a special interest in lung cancer and multiple myeloma, and has published and presented several peer-reviewed articles, posters and abstracts at regional and national oncology meetings. These have focused on multiple myeloma, lymphoma, prostate cancer, gastric cancer, and hematological complications during pregnancy.
As an involved and committed oncologist, Dr. Morganstein gives several lectures a year educating medical students. He teaches the hematology board review course for the American College of Physicians, as well as the hematology and oncology course for residents at Rutgers University. In addition, he thoroughly enjoys working with medical students in the hospital.
Dr. Morganstein completed his Hematology and Oncology Fellowship at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital of New Brunswick, New Jersey, where he also finished his residency training, while serving as Chief Resident. He is board-certified in Medical Oncology, Hematology and Internal Medicine and maintains membership in many distinguished organizations, including the American Society of Clinical Oncologists and the American Society of Hematologists.
