Dr. Apor completed his Oncology and Hematology training at Brown University. During his time at Brown, his research included being the principal researcher in a meta-analysis in the association of systemic lupus with the incidence of blood cancers and one of the researchers in a phase I study of FOLFOX for advanced pancreatic cancer.

However, the experiences he valued most were those in the outpatient/clinic setting. Fellow’s Clinic allowed him early on to assume ownership in the care for a variety of cases, solid and liquid oncology, as well as benign and malignant hematology. These experiences proved immensely rewarding.
